Role

This is a client-facing role within the research team, with the primary aim of developing small and medium sized accounts by growing, managing and maintaining client relationships. Key responsibilities within the role will include client interaction, research design, proposal writing and taking responsibility for quality of project delivery, adding value to debrief presentations via data interpretation and commercial awareness skills. The focus of business development will be in building and growing long term relationships with clients.

As a hands-on researcher with sector knowledge, commitment to excellence in delivery, and assured confidence, you will be able to add real insight at debriefs. Experience in, and enjoyment of management is essential as you will be required to help coach and mentor more junior team members. This coaching and mentoring aspect will require you to build a complete understanding of the full project cycle in order to be able to help develop others.

Requirements

Agency experience (ideally ad hoc) is essential for this role Relevant research experience within the food, drink, household care and personal care industry is advantageous Product testing experience is ideal Experience within both small and large agencies would be beneficial Quant experience is essential and qual is desirable (though not necessarily as a practitioner) Strong self-management and communications skills
