Job Specification: Associate Director - Data & AI Consulting

Salary: £100,000 - £120,000 + Benefits & Bonus

Location: London (with national flexibility)

Our client is a dynamic and growing consulting business, seeking to establish a market-leading presence in the Data and AI space. As part of their ambitious growth strategy, they are looking to hire an Associate Director to lead and build their Data & AI consulting pillar.

This is a unique opportunity to shape and drive a new practice area within a high-growth consultancy. With a largely blank canvas, they are looking for a visionary leader who is eager to disrupt the market and establish a cutting-edge consulting capability.

Key Responsibilities:

Practice Leadership: Develop and execute the strategy for the Data & AI consulting pillar, establishing a strong market presence.
Business Development: Identify, shape, and close new consulting opportunities within Data & AI, leveraging existing networks and market insights.
Client Engagement: Build trusted relationships with clients, advising on their data and AI transformation journeys.
Team Leadership: Recruit, develop, and lead a high-performing consulting team to deliver outstanding client solutions.
Collaboration: Work closely with other senior leaders to integrate Data & AI capabilities into the wider consulting offering.
Market Disruption: Bring innovative thinking and approaches to differentiate our client in the market.

Key Requirements:

Proven experience in shaping and delivering Data & AI consulting projects within a top-tier consultancy or boutique firm.
A strong track record in business origination, including identifying and securing new consulting engagements.
Demonstrated leadership experience, including managing consulting teams and overseeing project delivery.
A deep understanding of emerging trends in data strategy, artificial intelligence, and analytics.
Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage at C-suite and senior executive levels.
Ability to thrive in an entrepreneurial environment, bringing structure and strategy to a growing practice.
Willingness to travel to the London office regularly as a senior member of the leadership team.
