Description Are you highly technical with experiencein Data Protection, Data Privacy law and regulatory compliance?We’ve an exciting opportunity for a Senior Data Protection Managerto join our AXA Health Data Protection team on a 12 month fixedterm contract. You’ll provide privacy compliance advice to AXAHealth, primarily helping to identify and manage privacy risksarising from strategic change programmes. You’ll also support theoperation of the AXA UK privacy compliance framework e.g. advisingon breach management, individual rights responses, marketingqueries etc. You’ll also enhance the underlying processesthemselves including policy review/revision, process updates,communication and training. The ’Change’ aspect to the role allowsthe opportunity to work with teams such as Pricing, CustomerServices, Data Science, IT and Architecture, Change, Data PlatformEngineering, Data Governance, Data Security, Risk and Compliance,Legal, Third Party Risk as well as AXA Group and external thirdparty providers. Initiative to support include Robotic ProcessAutomation, Data Analytics and AI (including GenAI) use cases,company reorganisations, customer service transformations, claimstransformation, digital transformation and new product launches. AtAXA we work smart, empowering our people to balance their timebetween home and the office in a way that works best for them,their team and our customers. You'll work at least 40% of your weekaway from home at our offices, moving to the majority of yourworking week from September 2025. Away from home means eitherattendance at one of our office locations, visiting clients orattending industry events. What you’ll be doing: - Provide privacyadvice to strategic change programmes via DPIAs,papers/presentations and attendance at project meetings,highlighting risks and their potential impact while working withstakeholders on mitigating actions. - Design/review/enhance dataprivacy processes (and supporting templates/documentation) thathelp the Data Privacy Compliance Framework such as breachmanagement, individual rights, DPIAs. - You may be required todesign bespoke DP risk processes/templates, tailored toinitiatives/teams’ circumstances/requirements. - Keep alldocumentation up-to-date, clear and accessible to facilitatecross-team working. - Organisation and communication skills(written and verbal) are imperative. - Propose solutions to processinefficiencies and act to remediate, seeking feedback from AXA UKData Protection teams but also sometimes working with other teamsand proposing change with wider impacts. - Participate indiscussions with the AXA UK Data Protection team, providing viewson technical questions based on extensive knowledge of DPlaw/regulatory requirements (kept up-to-date by regular horizonscanning) and experience. - Review Data Protection clauses withthird party providers and corporate clients (unlikely to be a majorpart of role, but may be required on occasion). What you’ll bring:- Data Protection experience in a large commercial group;experience in Health insurance is preferred. Ability to achieveconsensus with stakeholders on the ‘best’ approach to regulatorycompliance in the circumstances– solution driven. - Highlytechnical and deep understanding of Data Privacy law and regulatoryrequirements (including those related to AI). - Good understandingof Health Insurance business and health and well-being businesspreferred, and the challenges associated with health data. -Experience working with healthcare providers and knowledge of theirdata governance and consent requirements is helpful but notessential. - Establishing/enhancing Data Privacy complianceframeworks experience and the policies and processes that sitwithin them. - Strong commercial experience with the ability tounderstand & integrate business & Data Protectionstrategies. - Experience with new technology, platforms andsoftware solutions (including arrangements and requirements withthird parties). As a precondition of employment for this role, youmust be eligible and authorised to work in the United Kingdom.
