Job Description
This is an exciting opportunity working within a growing Data team for a well-known brand in central London (hybrid).
In this role, you will ensure efficient Data Warehouse management with a strong analytical focus, helping the business to reach data-driven decisions for growth.
Day to Day:
- Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL processes to ensure efficient and reliable data flow across the organisation.
- Implement and monitor data validation and testing processes to ensure accuracy, consistency, and reliability.
- Work closely with data scientists, analysts, and stakeholders to understand their needs and translate them into actionable data solutions.
- Continuously optimise data infrastructure and workflows for performance, scalability, and cost-efficiency.
- Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for data pipelines, processes, and systems.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends, tools, and technologies in data engineering and analytics to drive innovation and improvements.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for data-related issues and queries from various teams.
- Ensure compliance with data governance policies and best practices, including data privacy and security standards.

Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in SQL and one or more programming languages such as Python, R, or Java.
- Data Warehousing solutions such as Snowflake, Redshift, or BigQuery.
- Hands-on experience with ETL tools and frameworks such as Apache Airflow, DBT, or Talend.
- Familiarity with data visualisation tools like Tableau, Looker, or Power BI.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure (preferably experience with at least 2).
- Experience with big data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, or Kafka is a plus.
- Understanding of APIs and experience with data integration.
