TheData Intelligence TeamatSaleCycle.

Youll join the Data Intelligence Teampart of the broader Technology function at SaleCycle and be a keycontributor to the design delivery continual assessment andimprovement of customerfocused data products. The team is small sothe daily work will be varied but as we value collaboration expectlots of interactions with our colleagues in Operations Engineeringand Product along with colleagues from the widerbusiness.

You will be contributing to and helpingto shape our approach to using data i.e. discovering actionableinsights for SaleCycle for our growing base of bluechip clientsenabled by building out a modern data stack. Our stack currentlyincludes technologies such as Looker Snowflake DBT Cyclr SageMakerand SQL Server.

As a keen problem solver with astrong sense of curiosity youll love to dig through the data tofind trends and patterns and enjoy discussing your findings impactwith stakeholders. Youll also get great satisfaction fromempowering stakeholders to make decisions from the data experiencesyou provide to them through Looker and the products you helpbuild.

As anAnalyticsDeveloperyouwill

  • Work in crossfunctionalteams to collaborate on delivering products through implementinganalytics tools and dashboards that help drive our strategicproduct strategy and satisfy the needs of ourclients.

  • Extendour Looker implementation to provide stakeholders with access todata that they can trust by creating usercentric explores anddashboards.

  • Implement datapipelines by using DBT and improve the availability accuracycompleteness and timeliness ofdata.

  • Identify opportunitiesto improve efficiency scalability and performance across the datastack as we scale ourimplementation.

  • Gather andunderstand requirements from internal stakeholders and translatethem into actionable insights models andreports.

  • Interrogate theperformance of our products by meticulously investigating the datato identify growth opportunities and identify issues before theybecome problems.

  • Supportmentor and provide feedback to your teammates by sharing bestpractices and staying abreast of the latest technologies andtechniques.

Requirementsfor the role

  • Aminimum of 2 years professional experience in a Data Analytics rolecoupled with a degreeideally in a mathematical or computer/datascience related subject is highlypreferred.

  • Extensiveknowledge of the Looker platform or other visualisation toolsincluding areas such as modelling performance tuning dashboardingliquid testing and advancedtechniques.

  • Experience ofcreating customer focused explores that enable selfserviceanalytics and creating dashboards that can tell a meaningfulstory.

  • Experience of usingmodern Data Warehouses such as Snowflake with an awareness ofperformance tuningcapabilities.

  • Experience ofusing DBT for Data Transformations with an awareness oforchestration mechanisms e.g. DBT CloudAirflow.

  • A well rounded dataprofessional with some experience across a range of datadisciplines such as Data Analytics Data Engineering Data Scienceetc.

DesirableExperience andQualifications

  • Exposureto third party Data Ingestion / Integration tools e.g. CyclrFivetran

  • Knowledge of DataVault modelling concepts or related modellingtechniques.

  • Knowledge ofData Science techniques e.g.segmentation.

  • Able toefficiently manipulate semistructured data through strongSQL.

  • Has already deliveredor is in the process of delivering a substantial businesstransformation involving the creation of a robust and modern datastack on which data products aredelivered.
