Who We Are Looking For

The Alpha Professional Services team in EMEA is looking for a qualified individual to manage our environment and data strategy workstream at the client level.


This individual must bring strong experience in end‑to‑end environment strategy, architecture and workflow design, data analysis and business system flows in order to create and execute environment designs for our industry leading front‑to‑back client servicing platform.


The successful candidate must be skilled in managing multi‑year programs consisting of complex business models and flows across front, middle, and back‑office operating models in both an insourced and outsourced model.


The successful candidate must have excellent verbal, written and presentation skills, technical architecture knowledge and understanding of global portfolio management, trading, and compliance functions across asset classes.


This position will interact with, and demand exposure to the highest levels of executive management within State Street and within our clients’ organizations.


What You Will Be Responsible For

  • This client facing role will be responsible for managing end‑to‑end environment and data strategy programs that onboard new clients onto State Street’s front‑to‑back platform
  • Manage client programs supporting workflow analysis, data analysis, requirements analysis for current and future state models and architecture
  • Lead creation and delivery of internal and client facing documents (strategy documents, playbooks, architecture documentation, data insights, etc.)
  • Navigate complex client relationships, build strong business relationships, and manage expectations with client stakeholders
  • Lead various stages of the implementation lifecycle
  • Support business development and sales efforts through consultative client engagement
  • Provide regular status updates and support program management reports as needed

What We Value

  • Ability to work in a fast‑paced, globally structured, and team‑based environment, as well as work independently.
  • Proven experience in program management, stakeholder management, client engagement and expectation management across project life cycle.
  • Experience in Agile Methodology and tools (e.g., JIRA, Rally, RTC) preferred.
  • Front/middle office platforms experience is useful.

Education & Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or above. 10+ years of financial industry experience across front office functionality along with middle (IBOR) and back‑office systems, services and data domains.
  • Technology background and CFA/FRM charters are highly appreciated.
  • Strong environment strategy and architecture design experience.
  • Strong experience in data mining, ETL platforms, data visualization/reporting/presentation tools. Exposure to messaging protocols, public/private cloud platforms and EDMs.
  • Experience integrating with other industry providers/consulting partners to promote platform interoperability (e.g., Deloitte, Accenture, PWC, Bloomberg PORT, Charles River Development, BRS Aladdin, SimCorp Dimension, Factset, Fidessa Minerva, Eze Software).
