The AI and Data Governance Platform Manager is responsible for hands on design and delivery of the tooling for Data Management - e.g. Data Catalog, Data Quality, Data Lineage.

This includes configuring pipelines and connectors to ingest metadata, classify data, and establish data elements within DataHub, our Data catalog. The manager will be hands on and responsible for tooling related to metadata management, data quality management, reference data management and lineage.

This role will also support use case development leveraging data elements/attributes through hands on data profiling and data discovery.

How we work:

We follow a hybrid working model, spending an average of three days per week at our office location.The office is located in Gresham Street next to St Paul's cathedral with easy access and transport links via St Paul's, Bank, Cannon Street, City Thameslink, Liverpool Street, Farringdon, Mansion House.

The impact you will have:

  • Implement Data Hub for appropriate data attributes
  • Connect the orchestration and integration of DataHub with AI and data governance activities
  • Develop data quality profiling and data quality issue management solutions using appropriate tooling
  • Develop data lineage visualisation in DataHub and Solidatus for use cases
  • Drive adoption and utilisation of data Hub, enabling enterprise data discovery and self service
  • Undertake hands on data discovery and data governance activities for priority AI and non-AI use cases to showcase data governance best practice

What we're looking for:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a data governance or data management role.
  • In-depth experience of set up and embedding data management tooling (catalog, quality, lineage, etc) - in particular using Data Hub (must have), Solidatus (Must Have) and AWS Glue (should have), Great Expectations (nice to Have) in a Fintech or Financial Services Industry.
  • Curiosity and eagerness to explore the new frontiers and opportunities for Data Management & Quality in the GenAI space, both as enabler and beneficiary (Data for GenAI & GenAI for Data)
  • In depth experience of data architecture and data lineage tools
  • Ability to identify and address data-related challenges effectively
  • Experience developing technical and business lineage
  • Experience developing data quality rules and profiling of data quality using DQ tooling
  • In-depth experience with data management tooling for managing metadata, data quality, reference data and master data amongst others
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to lead projects from inception to completion
  • Excellent communication skills for interacting with various stakeholders and explaining complex concepts
  • Experience in data classification and application to data security and access control
