About the Role:

Amber Labs is seeking a technically adept AI and Data Analyst

to support a high-impact strategic programme within the public sector. This role will require a blend of technical expertise, strategic thinking, and stakeholder engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Hub Integration

Develop user stories and integrate digital tools to enhance strategic cycles.
Apply analytics and AI to support data-driven decision-making.
Guide users in interpreting data and generating actionable insights.

Technical & Strategic Advisory

Translate user needs into technical solutions, epics, and developer tasks.
Advise on tooling, development methodologies, and team composition.
Act as a technical liaison with external partners and internal governance.

AI/Data Science Implementation

Design, test, and deploy AI models aligned with strategic objectives.
Validate model performance and ensure ethical compliance.
Collaborate with developers to embed AI into operational workflows.

Ethical & Analytical Oversight
Evaluate ethical implications of AI use and provide governance feedback.
Ensure analytical validity and best practices in AI outputs.

Agile Delivery Participation
Engage in Sprint Planning, Daily Scrums, and Retrospectives.
Identify and escalate impediments to the Scrum Master.

Training & Stakeholder Engagement
Support training in data, analytics, and AI tailored to user needs.
Represent AI/Data Science in high-level meetings.
Act as a bridge between internal teams and external digital/data organisations.

Key Skills & Experience:

Background in

Data Science, AI, and Analytics .
Experience in

public sector

environments is highly desirable.
Comfortable working in

agile teams

and engaging with senior stakeholders.
Able to work flexibly and adapt to evolving project needs.

This role at Amber Labs is a

12 Month salary based FTC position, and all employees are required to hold active SC clearance . Please be advised that, at this time, we are unable to consider candidates who require sponsorship or hold a visa of any type.

Our Talent Acquisition Team will be in touch to advise you on the next steps. We have a two-stage interview process for most of our consultants. In certain cases, we may include a third and final stage, which is a conversation with the company Partners. This will only be considered if deemed necessary.
