We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Finance Assistant to join our Finance team. This is a varied role that offers exposure to both core finance processes and internal governance, working closely with key stakeholders across the business.

I'm currently working with a hugely successful and well-known retail brand who are recognised for their strong presence both online and on the high street.

Description

Raising journals and processing accruals or prepayments as required.

Supporting month-end activities, including cost reviews and variance analysis.

Assisting with balance sheet reconciliations and data integrity checks.

Helping maintain key financial data and reporting structures in finance systems.

Supporting budget and forecast processes with data preparation and template management.

Managing and maintaining the TOA (Table of Authority) ticketing system.
Processing TOA update requests and ensuring accurate completion within SLA.

Liaising with stakeholders to clarify queries and ensure compliance with approval policies.

Profile

Previous experience in a finance, finance operations or finance administration role.

Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Good organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.

Comfortable working with finance data and systems

Confident communicator - able to challenge and influence appropriately.

Proactive, curious and keen to learn new skills.
