We are seeking a talented and ambitious Account Manager to manage a portfolio of senior executive clients in investment banking, private equity and professional services globally.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a high growth B2B publishing business in a red-hot sector and play a major role in its next stage of growth.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for client retention and growth within a portfolio of 60-70 accounts

  • Deliver excellent account management support to ensure customer satisfaction and renewal

  • Successfully uncover upsell opportunities within existing client relationships

  • Develop a strategic approach to account planning to identify growth opportunities

  • Manage a sales pipeline and forecast accurately

  • Target-driven, proactive and consultative you must be able to utilise an account management renewal sales process to match customer journey with our product and demonstrate significant competitive advantage in mergers and acquisitions

    You will have the following key attributes:

  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience managing a portfolio of b2b subscriptions to senior executives

  • Proven track record of delivering retention and account growth ideally within information TMT and/or finance sectors

  • Generating and maintaining a healthy pipeline of account growth opportunities achieving monthly, quarterly and annual targets

  • Highly motivated, self-directed, and results-driven with a proven ability to work independently and a committed focus on individual activity levels.

  • Ability to work with cross-functional teams to utilise internal network provide feedback from clients and ensure client satisfaction

  • Ambitious with desire to be a driving force in the sales team and company as a whole

  • Proven ability to communicate with Senior Executives and to work and thrive in a young media business

  • Looks to learn from others and works well independently and within a team

  • Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and have excellent attention to detail

  • The candidate will have excellent organisational, presentation and communication skills, and enjoy working as part of a dynamic team.

  • Maintains and updates CRM systems (Salesforce) with opportunities and leads, forecasting sales performance accurately and conducting weekly pipeline reviews with sales leadership.
