The Role
We are looking for an Account Director, to join us and assume full responsibility for managing a substantial portfolio of Public Sector, Education and Not-for-Profit clients.
Your mission is to lead strategic account growth, ensure exceptional client service, and deliver tailored recruitment advertising, Search and Programmatic (PFP) solutions that align with our clients' unique hiring challenges and goals.
This is a high-impact, client-facing role that requires a strong understanding of the Public Sector landscape, exceptional relationship management skills, and a track record of delivering commercial success.
Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, building trusted relationships at a senior level across our portfolio
  • Develop and implement strategic account plans to optimise revenue, grow market share and ensure long-term client retention
  • Stay ahead of market trends and leverage insights to identify opportunities for clients to maximise their hiring outcomes
  • Collaborate with New Business and Client Services teams to support pitches and proposals for new clients
  • Drive incremental revenue by cross-selling and upselling recruitment advertising, Search and Performance-based solutions
  • Lead contract negotiations to secure profitable agreements
  • Ensure client needs are met with innovative and effective advertising strategies
  • Conduct regular account reviews, including QBRs, to measure performance and refine strategies
  • Work closely with the Client Services team to ensure campaigns are executed to the highest standard
  • Act as a trusted advisor by staying informed on recruitment advertising and HRTech trends
  • Provide feedback to product teams to develop new solutions that meet evolving client needs
  • Represent the company at industry events, driving brand awareness and thought leadership in the Public Sector market
  • Maintain accurate records in CRM systems, ensuring data integrity and timely reporting
  • Monitor pipeline and forecast revenue with precision
  • Meet or exceed key performance indicators, including revenue growth, retention and client satisfaction
    Requirements
  • Proven success in recruitment advertising, media sales, or HRTech, ideally within the Public Sector, Education or Not-for-Profit markets
  • Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills, with a history of meeting and exceeding revenue targets
  • Expertise in account management and strategic planning, with experience managing high-value portfolios
  • Knowledge of CRM systems (Dynamics or Salesforce preferred) and proficiency in Microsoft Office tools
  • Previous experience working with and managing Frameworks such as CCS - G-Cloud, ESPO, LUPC/SUPC etc; would be highly desirable but not essential
  • Passionate about the Public Sector and its critical role in shaping communities
  • Creative problem-solver with the ability to tailor solutions to complex client challenges
  • Excellent communicator, able to influence and build relationships at all levels
  • Resilient, proactive and results-driven, with a commitment to continuous improvement
  • Collaborative team player who inspires others and leads by example
