Currently recruiting an interim Procurement Data Analyst on a 6 month fixed term contract for an exciting organisation in the Manchester area.


This is a critical role, taking ownership of all procurement systems, data and reporting.



The role:

  • Overall accountability of master databases including contracts and savings reporting tools
  • Proactively manage and analyse data
  • Establishment of a spend dashboard which can be used to support Procurement Managers with category-specific strategies and plans
  • Extraction of system data to generate cyclical and ad-hoc reports for key stakeholders
  • Managing low value/low risk category which includes building procurement strategies and leading tender processes in compliance with the company policy and Public Sector Procurement.
  • Key reporting and review duties
  • Proactively track and manage procurement contracts using the e-procurement systems
  • Support the promotion of procurement strategies within the organisation
  • Utilisation of existing systems/reporting to streamline existing trackers/reports through increased automisation and AI
  • Own and manage procurement inbox.



Your profile:

  • 2+ years working a procurement department
  • A high level of proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly an advanced level of Excel
  • Ability to work independently and use initiative with a proactive approach
  • Strong Analytical skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects/tasks at any one time
  • Experience of high-volume data management and reporting
  • Demonstration of accuracy and thoroughness; ability to look for ways to improve processes
  • Ability to build credibility with internal stakeholders
  • Broad based professional procurement experience combined with commercial and financial awareness
  • Well-developed influencing skills in managing effective working relationships with key stakeholders at all levels
  • Experience of procurement systems including e-sourcing/e-tendering and procurement tender process
