Team/Role Overview

The Team sit within Citi's Enterprise Data Office and have a focus on serving our business partners within ICM. Institutional Credit Management (ICM) aims to provide integrated "end-to-end" credit underwriting, and management of risks for wholesale credit businesses across the enterprise.

This data and product development role will help shape the portfolio, limits & collateral target state process, data & capabilities across business lines, through engagement with 1st line teams, technology & individual business product teams.

What you'll do

  • Design, develop, and maintain advanced dashboards to support credit risk teams in monitoring and analyzing key metrics
  • Collect, clean, and analyse data related to credit risk - utilizing a data driven approach to determine the optimal solutions to meet strategic requirements
  • Identify data patterns & trends, and provide insights to business stakeholders
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, translate business needs into technical specifications, and drive development of new products and/or features and functionality of products
  • Act as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, as well as the data & analytics subject matter expect (SME), providing regular updates on project progress and addressing feedback independently
  • Proactively identify opportunities to enhance products and processes to improve efficiency and decision-making
  • Interact with business managers, technology, and sales to understand their long term vision, discuss industry trends, and incorporate them into the product & solutions strategy

What we'll need from you

  • Experience in contributing to a data/analytic capability in a financial institution
  • Foundational understanding of credit risk concepts and the ability to translate complex risk data into meaningful insights for stakeholders
  • Strong experience with data visualization tools and best practices (ideally using Tableau)
  • • An ability to manipulate data using SQL and/or Python
  • • Experience with low-code Extract Transform and Load (ETL) applications is preferrable (for example, Tableau Prep or Alteryx)
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to present technical concepts to non-technical audiences effectively
  • A proactive and self-motivated approach to managing multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Highly analytical & creative mindset
