MSX are currently seeking a highly motivated, experienced Warranty Administrator / Junior Auditor who want to progress their career to the next level, providing insights into warranty claim anomalies and retailer processes for a premium automotive manufacturer.

The service is to provide monthly deep dive reporting and analysis on retailer general and warranty topics including monitoring warranty audit, claim costs and repair activity.

To understand anomalies, report on market dashboards and inhouse systems.

To be available to visit retailers and discuss warranty topics and monitor activity, suggest changes and review KPI audits

Report market trends within the warranty audit and health check programs.

Use of several different data sources to ensure reports are consistent and accurate, the successful candidate will provide departmental insights, produce top level summaries, departmental dashboards and establish a structured reporting plan.

Working within the Warranty and Technical area, this role will also require an in-depth understanding of warranty data with ability to provide ad-hoc intelligence to departmental Managers.

This role will require an experienced person that understands all aspects of automotive warranty claims process, with the ability to check the validity and integrity of the information being submitted. To be able to analyse data in Excel, and other platforms would be an advantage.

Working alongside the OEM, to establish where any data discrepancies are attributed and work to identify a corrective course of action. Attention to detail and quality control are key to this role.

The role will have a hybrid office location between home, Colchester or Farnborough, and client premises, with 1 day travel per month to a retailer location in the UK.

Qualifications:

  • The ideal candidate will have a minimum of three years’ experience within a warranty role and have an understanding of the automotive industry.

  • Technical knowledge of dealer warranty process systems and DMS.

  • Knowledge of business data with ability to analyse, understand and work with different and new systems.

  • Ability to create and present summaries to Senior Management level using PowerPoint.

  • Ability to be creative and create a robust reporting structure and top-level summaries

  • Experience with process improvement, identifying opportunities and implementation of approved changes.

  • Additional team support creating SharePoint, updating internal departmental process and data / file management, coordinating surveys and providing technical videos to the network

  • Logical and methodical approach to data analysis.

  • Excellent time management skills with the ability to successfully manage own workload

  • Team player with good communication skills

  • Automotive / Technical background with aptitude to learn

  • Confident and proactive

  • Full UK Driving Licence as Retailer visits will be required (approx. 12 per annum)

  • Ability to attend client offices on an ad-ad-hoc bas

    Working pattern and location:

  • 40 Hours Monday – Friday

  • BMW Head Office, Farnborough or MSX Colchester Office Colchester
