This is a very interesting role for a highly skilled and motivate BA to join this business and play a crucial role in bridging the gap between business needs and technology solutions ensuring effective delivery of finance-related products and services. The role requires this person to have a strong understanding of financial systems, (specifically Loan Management), excellent analytical skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Engage with stakeholders to gather, document and and analyse business requirements for finance products and services.
- Translate business needs into functional and technical specifications.
- Act as a liaison between business users, product managers, and technical teams to ensure alignment and clarity.
- Collaborate with engineering, QA, and design teams to drive the development and implementation of finance-related features.
- Analyse existing finance processes and workflows, identifying areas for improvement and automation.
- Work with data analysts to define reporting requirements and ensure the integrity of financial data.
- Analyse key performance metrics to evaluate the success of product features and inform decision-making.
- Develop and execute test cases to validate product functionality and ensure alignment with business requirements.
- Create and maintain detailed documentation, including user stories, use cases, process flows, and user guides.
Key Skills:
- Track record of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably within the finance domain.
- Strong understanding of financial products, systems, and workflows (e.g., accounting systems, ERP, or treasury systems).
- Previous experience with and strong knowledge of Loan Management Software / Systems.
- Proficiency in requirement gathering techniques, such as interviews, workshops, and document analysis.
- Hands-on experience with Agile methodologies and tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence).
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Knowledge of SQL or other data querying languages is a plus.
