Who we are:
ALS Training is a leading provider of training, learning and development solutions with over 2,000 Apprentices in learning each week. We design, deliver and evaluate a comprehensive range of training and development solutions to service both employers’ and employees’ and their individual needs.
What you’ll do:
We are looking for a passionate and dedicated individual who will support a caseload of learners throughout their “Learning Journey”, to achieve Data Analytic qualifications. The role also requires ensuring compliance with the standards of awarding organisations, Welsh Government guidelines, the Estyn Common Inspection Framework, and ALS requirements.
Excellent communication skills are essential, as you will engage with a wide range of stakeholders, including learners, line managers, and employers. This is a long-term opportunity for someone eager to grow within the company, with a strong focus on professional development.
The role is field based and will require the Trainer to deliver across Wales, the trainer will be directly line managed by the Route Manager.
ALS is committed to promoting the Welsh language for both staff and learners, and whilst it is not considered essential criteria, the ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this role.
What we need from you:

  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience within a Data Analytic role
  • Coding experience
  • Qualified Assessor or willing to work towards this qualification
  • A valid full UK Driving Licence with access to a vehicle
  • Applicants must have the Right to work in the UK
  • Good standard of education: GCSE (or equivalent) English and Math
  • To uphold ALS Values

  • Ability to develop others
  • Proven track record of meeting targets
  • Excellent IT Skills with programs such as Microsoft Office, Word, Excel

    An interview process consisting of:
  • 1st stage – On-line via Microsoft Teams
  • 2nd stage – a work-based task (for example - a micro teach, presentation or written task, full details will be provided before interview). This will be face to face at out Head Office in Cardiff
    Interviews will be held in January/February 2025.
