Technical & Regulatory SME / Business Analyst VP

Day Rate: From £800 via Umbrella Company

Are you ready to take your career to the next level in the financial services sector? We are seeking a dynamic Technical & Regulatory Subject Matter Expert (SME) / Business Analyst VP to join our client, one of the largest financial institutions headquartered in Japan! This is an exciting opportunity to make an impact in the EMEA Cross-Product FinReg IT Platforms team, where you will drive the delivery of IT solutions that ensure compliance with critical financial regulations.

What You'll Do:

Lead the analysis, design, and delivery of innovative solutions for the Finance & Risk Regulatory Reporting function across EMEA.
Collaborate with a talented team of business analysts and developers to implement impactful solutions.
Manage relationships with stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and alignment across Risk & Finance functions.
Shape and scope new initiatives, defining and prioritising product backlogs in line with Agile methodologies.
Oversee sprint planning, execution, and Agile ceremonies while mentoring team members.Key Responsibilities:

Develop and evolve the FinReg IT Platforms delivery strategy.
Conduct business and technical analyses, designing solutions that meet regulatory imperatives.
Ensure timely and budget-compliant delivery of solutions, while managing delivery risks.
Maintain RAID log and production issues log management.
Drive service ownership transitions and oversee change management for live systems.What We're Looking For:

Proven experience in a technology delivery role within Commercial, Merchant, or Investment Banking.
Extensive knowledge of Credit, Market, and Liquidity Risk methodologies, along with experience in regulatory frameworks such as Capital Requirements Directive III, IV, or V.
Strong technical skills in data analytics tools (SAS, SQL, Python) and visualisation tools (Power BI, Tableau, Qlik).
Experience with Agile methodologies, IT controls, and software development lifecycles.
Exceptional communication skills with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.Who You Are:
