Supply Chain Specialist

Proactive Global is hiring for experienced Supply Chain Specialist to join a leading manufacturing organization based in Slough. A specialist will coordinate production and material workflow to leverage standard processes and methods, as well as automation and data analytics, to improve production throughput, waste reduction and delivery performance.

Job Type: Permanent Position

Location : Slough, SL1

Your Responsibilities:

Champion and promote a strong safety culture - Perform all duties in accordance with safety guidelines
Coordinate and optimize logistics processes between Slough and 3PL.
Communicating with internal stakeholders regarding daily business issues.
Monitor inventory levels, provide forecasts and respond to changes in demand.
Identify, arrange and monitor all material movements in and out of 3PL.
Ensure all required documentation is in place for material in and out of 3PL.
Handle claims and complaints, escalating issues when necessary.
Analyze order booking, item level forecast, equipment capacity, and material availability. Provide cover in other Supply chain specialist areas.
Prioritize operations to ensure maximum production throughput, reduced scrap, downtime and delays.
Analyze and report item level inventory, lead time and delivery performance.
Stay current and implement best practices for supply chain systems and methods.
Ensure material supply meets production requirements efficiently.
Drives reduced stocks and disposition of excess and obsolete materials.
Other assignments - As directed by the Supply-Chain Manager or the International OperationsA Supply Chain Specialist must have :

Strong communications and analytical skills
Proficiency in computer skills (i.e., Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Data base, BI, SAP)
Good interpersonal skills
Commitment to safety and environmental health
Self-motivated with the ability to take initiative with limited direction
Proven problem solver and cost savings background
Willingness to continuously improve current processes
Results-oriented, self-starter with extensive knowledge of the principles, procedures, and best practices in the industry
High level of intellectual curiosity, problem-solving skills, and drive for continuous improvement
Track record of successfully working cross functionally at all levels
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
Cross functional project management leadership skills
