We are looking to recruit for an experienced Supply Chain and Demand Planning Manager

This role is responsible for forecasting demand, inventory levels and ensuring an efficient supply chain to meet business goals.

It involves managing purchasing activities, maintaining key supplier relationships, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and quality standards.

The role:

Develop and maintain accurate demand forecasts using historical data and business insights.
Collaborate with sales, marketing, and finance teams to refine forecasting models.
Monitor demand variations and adjust forecasts to ensure optimal inventory levels.
Identify and mitigate risks in demand planning.
Manage inventory planning, ensuring stock availability while minimising excess inventory.
Align production activity with demand forecasts.
Optimise supply chain processes to reduce costs and improve efficiency.
Build and maintain strong supplier relationships, negotiating contracts and ensuring compliance.
Develop a risk management strategy for potential supply chain disruptions.
Conduct supplier audits to ensure compliance with ethical sourcing and sustainability standards.
Lead and develop the Purchasing Assistant to ensure continuous improvement.

Skills:

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office, ERP systems (SAP), and data analytics tools.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Strong contract management and negotiation abilities.
Knowledge of global supply chain processes and risk mitigation.
Assertive negotiator with attention to detail.
Flexible, self-motivated, and proactive team player.
Experience with sustainable sourcing and supplier audits.
