About the Team The Core AnalyticsTeam is a centralized function dedicated to providing data-driveninsights to drive business and product success. We work closelywith our Product and Engineering teams to deliver exceptionalexperiences to our customers while maximizing the value propositionfor the business. This role can be based in either Cambridge,London, or Manchester, with an on-site requirement of three daysper week at the designated office. This is an essential aspect ofthe position. About the Role Roku is seeking a Senior DataScientist to join the Core Analytics team supporting voiceproducts. In this role, you will harness data analytics to enhancethe user experience, improve voice initiatives, and deliveractionable insights that drive team efficiency and safeguard ourusers. Collaborating with product management and engineering,you’ll identify opportunities to create impactful features, drivetheir adoption, and generate measurable value for Roku. This roleoffers a dynamic opportunity to investigate, design, and implementsolutions to track, monitor, and optimize our ecosystem. The idealcandidate is detail-oriented, highly analytical, and passionateabout solving complex challenges. What You’ll Be Doing: - Designingand maintaining dashboards, reports, and data visualizations tomonitor key metrics for operational and system performance. -Analyzing both structured and unstructured data to uncoverinsights, identify trends, and support stakeholders in solvingbusiness challenges and making informed decisions. - Building andmaintaining data pipelines to enable automation, validation, andreporting processes. - Collaborating with stakeholders to aligndata science initiatives with organizational objectives, includingdesigning and executing A/B tests. - Developing analytical toolssuch as real-time alerts and models to identify success drivers. -Conducting exploratory data analysis to understand emerging trendsand performing advanced analyses across the Roku platform. -Partnering with Program Management and Engineering teams toincorporate feedback and refine solutions. - Providing leadershipwith actionable insights on the performance of various initiativesand identifying untapped opportunities. We're excited if you have:- Extensive experience in data science and analytics, with a strongfoundation in a quantitative field (e.g., Statistics, Data Science,Mathematics, Economics, Engineering, or Computer Science). - Aproven track record in consumer products, digital media, orentertainment industries. - Proficiency in SQL, SAS, R, Python, orother programming languages for querying and analyzing data. -Hands-on expertise with visualization tools such as Tableau orLooker. - A proactive approach to problem-solving, with a biastoward action in high-energy, fast-paced environments. - Experiencein A/B testing, statistical modeling, and forecasting, with ademonstrated ability to translate complex findings into practicalsolutions.
