Sr Manager, IT – Digital Platforms

Cognizant is seeking an experiencedSr. Data Architect, specializing inanalytics and data solutions.This role requires atechnical expert turned solution expert, responsible foroverseeing technical aspects of solution architecture and proposal development.

The ideal candidate will have deep expertise intechnical solutioning, architecture, and analytics implementationsand will act as aSubject Matter Expert (SME)insolution design.Knowledge and experience in the public sector is required.

Key Responsibilities:

Solution Design & Technical Expertise

  • Act as aSME in analytics, AI, and data solutions.
  • Defineend-to-end solution architectures, coveringcloud, AI-driven solutions, data mining, and business intelligence.
  • Collaborate withdelivery teamsto shape solutions that arescalable, secure, and compliantwithgovernment frameworks (e.g., G-Cloud, Digital Marketplace, ITIL, TOGAF).

Capability Support

  • Create compellingpoint of views, capability decks, and thought leadership materials.
  • Participate indiscovery workshops and solution presentations.

Stakeholder & Partnership Management

  • Collaborate withinternal teams (delivery, legal, finance, bid management)to ensure seamless proposal execution.
  • Work with Cognizant’sstrategic partners (AWS, Microsoft, Google Cloud, Celonis, etc.)to enhance solution offerings.

Required Experience & Skills:

Technical & Solutioning Experience

  • Good hands-on experience in technical development, architecture, and solution design in public sector projects.
  • Experience withsecurity, compliance, and data governance standards.
  • Ability to create compellingvalue propositions, executive summaries, and pricing models.
  • Strongcommunication, storytelling, and presentation skills.
  • Ability tosimplify complex technical conceptsfor non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strategic thinkerwith aninnovation-driven mindset.
  • Excellent collaboration skills, with experience working acrossmulti-disciplinary teams.
