At the heart of our platform we track performance marketing data and build a number of solutions to turn this data into useful information for our customers. We work with a lot of data, generating over a billion events across our infrastructure daily. We aim to make as much of this data available in real-time as possible, which is no mean feat at this scale!
As a Senior Data & Analytics Product Owner you will be responsible designing and delivering data and analytics products for employees and customers. The products and solutions you deliver can be built in a number of different BI tools like Tableau, Qlik, or Superset. In this role you will partner with both engineering and BI developers to develop and maintain the solutions you design.
As a Sr. Data & Analytics Product Manager at Partnerize, you will:
Creates and maintain our business requirements template for the data & analytics team. Partner with internal teams to shape their business questions that can be answered with data. You help translate what a user wants to achieve into what's possible in Tableau/Qlik/Superset and our data warehouse. Deep experience in partnerships, or affiliate, marketing terminology and KPIs. Responsilble for creating and maintaining the Data & Analytics Product Roadmap; including partnering with stakeholders on prioritization. Create and manage tickets within Jira for our BI developers and data engineers. Refines our agile processes with other departments as needed. Test that Tableau Dashboards designed by others meet the business requirements. These dashboards will need to be validated against the data warehouse as well as the original source systems (examples include our affiliate platforms and business systems like Salesforce, Zendesk, and NetSuite). Utilize SQL and Tableau for exploratory based analysis to help inform your business requirements. An expert in our data sources and how they can be used to answer business questions. Own change management for our data and analytics products. This includes our data dictionary, user communications, and training. Evangelise Tableau across the organisation. We’re at the beginning of our Tableau journey and need your help to articulate its value.
You are a business intelligence professional with:
5-6 years of experience in business intelligence Experience writing clear and concise business requirements; that deliver what the user needs as well as optimizes the approach for the business. Demonstrated ability to write user stories and help others refine theirs Able to create and maintain a product roadmap Able to optimize our agile processes in a tool like Jira A keen interest in learning new technologies and keeping up to date with technology trends. Experience with digital marketing channels, as well as affiliate, or partnership marketing Experience with relational databases (Hive, Google BigQuery, Snowflake,etc) to optimise SQL to pull and summarise large datasets
We hope you have:
Experience with digital marketing channels. Exposure to affiliate, or partnership marketing, is a highly valued skill set. Experience in reverse engineering and problem solving skills, specifically the ability to read existing SQL code and understand what it's doing. Exposure to working within ticketing tools like Zendesk and within agile processes using tools Jira Exposure to a global company. Partnerize operates in three global regions (EMEA, the Americas, and APAC).
