SAP Master Data Governance (MDG) is a new area for the NextGen Program. A role as SAP MDG Solution Architect with experience and up to date product roadmap knowledge is difficult to find. The primary issue lies in the scarcity of professionals who possess the knowledge of optimizing this product within an enterprise of our scale.
Ideally we are looking to partner with a supplier who is specialized in SAP MDG with a pool of resources that are trained and have consistent knowledge and experience from MDG projects.
Educational Requirements/ technical certification/
Recent certified as SAP Master Data Governance - SAP Certified Application Associate
Master/Bachelor degree in Information Technology. TOGAF Certification is a pre.
Work Experience
At least 10 years experience in various SAP Data, Functional and Technical solutions with last 5 years working for at least 3-4 different customers mainly as SAP MDG Solution Architect, with central SAP MDG hub setup and complex connected SAP and non-SAP Ecosystems
Broad and deep knowledge (Expert Level) in most recent SAP MDG S/4HANA functionalities for various SAP Master Data domains i.e. Finance, Business Partner Supplier/Customer, Material, Asset Management, Reference Data Management and solutions part of SAP Enterprise Information Management (EIM) solutions i.e.: MDI, ODM, Federation, HANA and Cloud Ready Mode.
Experience in Architectural Screening of customers SAP MDG landscape and provide deployment options roadmap, technology advice, integration best practices.
Have regular connect with in SAP product development to understand product roadmap and actively influence SAP through customer influence network
Must have Skills
Excellent Architecture Design and Conceptual Thinking
Excellent Communication skills (spoken and written). Proven skills in documenting and presenting architecture design
Excellent Stakeholder management skills (various levels). Chair meetings and dare to challenge the status quo
Nice to have to Skills
experience working in cross functional teams, experience with working in geographical dispersed teams, Data architecture modelling in BizzDesign tool

Specific Requirements
Would prefer a candidate based in NL and is part of a consultant company specialized in SAP MDG that actively working with customers and understand/influence SAP MDG products roadmap where we can partner up with and benefit from their expertise, experiences, learnings and best practices
Review the current SAP MDG Master Data Architecture landscape and consult on future design based on requirements, design principles and SAP standards/future roadmap.
Advises on new SAP MDG functionalities required by our business which are not part of SAP future roadmap.
