Are you a data savvy Solution Architect with a broad range of knowledge and experience looking for an opportunity to take ownership and work with autonomy in an influential role?


You could be progressing your career in a senior, Solution Architect role at an independent Building Society that specialise in savings and mortgages, in a friendly and supportive environment where you can enjoy flexible working alongside a range of other perks.


As a Solution Architect you will design the high level architecture to support business requirements and the IT strategy. Initially they'll be a focus on Data Applications and Azure cloud based systems however this is a broad role that will encompass Networking, Infrastructure, Security and Hardware within a Windows Office 365 environment.


You'll collaborate with key stakeholders to translate business needs into both functional and non-functional requirements, creating solutions that align with architectural principles, working with a great deal of autonomy in conjunction with the Lead Architect.


Location / WFH:

You'll have flexibility to work from home, meeting up with colleagues in the Epsom office only twice a month.


About you:

  • You have a strong knowledge of SQL, Power Platform, PowerBI, Data Warehousing including ETL and data modelling
  • You have a Windows Infrastructure background with design and Solution Architecture experience
  • You have a strong knowledge of Azure cloud infrastructure
  • You have a high level knowledge of Windows, Office 365, Networking, Security, Computer Hardware
  • You have experience with architecture and UML
  • You're a confident communicator, able to manage stakeholders, elicit requirements and discuss technical problems
  • You're able to take ownership and work autonomously
