Responsibilities:

The aforementioned Engineer will join the Core Technology Team in London, where you’ll play a crucial role in building and enhancing the proprietary data platform — a key component of research infrastructure. This is a high-impact role that offers the opportunity to work closely with researchers and traders, gain full-stack data experience, and directly influence the firm’s continued success:

• Develop scalable and efficient data and research infrastructure.
• Implement workflows for processing both structured and unstructured financial datasets.
• Analyze dataset coverage and quality; create reusable data analysis libraries.
• Collaborate closely with quantitative researchers to extend and utilise the data platform.

Requirements:

• Computer ScienceorElectrical Engineeringdegree from a top university absolutelyessential.
• Elite Proficiency in Python and SQL.
• Strong Experience with Data Pipelines, ETL Tools and relational databases are all highly desirable.
• Personable and highly communicative. Enthusiasm is essential: receiving feedback proactively, desire to take ownership and have substantial impact.
• 1-4 years of experience in a relevant role is ideal. Candidates with over 5 years of experience willnot be considered.
• Focus on writing clean code that can easily be manipulated for implementation is key. Vouching for best-practices in engineering.
