Staff Engineer - £100k - Serverless, data and software - London (flexible)

We are working with a very exciting challenger payments platform, shaping products that change real people's lives - including making savings and mortgages easier.

We are looking for a product-focused software engineer with data experience, to lead new products and modern data platforms. They are building an integral platform, combining multiple pipelines and processes.

This role includes leading architectural discussions, systems integrations, infrastructure, testing, and help support a junior team of data engineers.

Requirements

• Experience with serverless architecture, design patterns, and best practices
• Hands on experience of modern data platform architectures
• Excellent experience working with AWS, including Lambda, S3, LakeFormation, Glue, Step Functions, Athena, EventBridge, SNS, SQS, DynamoDB and the IAM policies that support them all
• Highly proficient in developing with Python
