Job Description
We’re looking for a Social Data Analyst to help build a growing social offering at the heart of Leo Burnett - made up of Social, Editorial and Comms Planning specialists.
Your job will be to decipher and translate complex datasets from social media platforms, and other sources, into compelling narratives that help shape strategic and creative decisions.
What You’ll Be Doing:
Your key responsibilities will include:
Data analysis- you’ll be collecting, analysing, and interpreting data from all social platforms - uncovering trends, patterns, and sentiments. These will help to fuel our social content and ideas.
Data storytelling- you’ll be crafting narratives from your data insights to convince others - making visually engaging presentations, reports, and dashboards.
Trend analysis- you’ll be monitoring and analysing industry trends, competitive landscapes, and emerging technologies to anticipate shifts in consumer behaviour and identify growth opportunities.
Performance tracking- you’ll be analysing the success of our social content on an ongoing basis, defining whether it meets the KPIs set and suggesting opportunities for improvement and optimisation
Qualifications
To be successful in this role you will need:
You’ll be proficient in data analysis tools and languages – like:Social listening tools e.g. Netbase Quid, BrandwatchWeb analytic tools e.g. Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, SimilarWebSocial networks native analytic tools e.g. Meta Business Suite, TikTok Analytics, YouTube Studio You’ll be deeply analytical, able to turn complex data sets into simple, compelling narratives You’ll be collaborative, able to works in a cross functional team of strategists and creatives. You’ll be excited by working in a fast paced, creative environment. You’ll have 3-5 years of experience in an insights / social insights department or agency
