Job Description

Large Data Transformation Programme – Asset / Fund / Investment Management.



  • Ideally have Asset / Fund / Investment Management experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years UK address history required due to background checks.
  • Contract Opportunity – Great Rates.

📍 Location: Hybrid – 3 days/week in Central London

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Design, build, and maintain advanced test automation frameworks using Playwright, SpecFlow, and custom tools in C#, Python, and JavaScript/TypeScript.
  • Drive end‑to‑end test coverage across UI, API, and data layers—covering functional, performance, and non‑functional testing.
  • Act as the go‑to technical leader, liaising between automation architects, engineering teams, and project stakeholders.
  • Champion quality engineering practices and help build a best‑in‑class QA culture.
  • Lead code reviews, guide junior engineers, and implement strategic improvements in tooling and processes.
  • Provide technical demos and knowledge sharing across teams.

What You Bring To The Table

Sector Expertise: Recent, hands‑on experience in Asset / Fund / Investment Management is essential.


Tech Stack Mastery



  • Languages: C#, Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, SQL
  • Frameworks: Playwright, SpecFlow, and custom tools
  • Testing Excellence:
  • Strong in data testing (SQL, Snowflake, Databricks)
  • Deep understanding of Aladdin, Agile and TDD
  • Hands‑on with performance/load testing, API, and UI testing

Leadership: Proven experience in mentoring, leading test strategy, and improving quality processes.


Tooling: Confident using Azure DevOps, Git, Jira, Confluence, Visio, PowerPoint, and Excel.


Bonus Points For

  • Experience with Charles River or Aladdin platforms.
  • Exposure to large‑scale transformation programmes.
  • Cloud testing in Azure environments.
