We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Statistician to join our Technical Operations Statistics team, an ideal team leadership role . The role involves providing team leadership and statistical expertise for the operations/manufacturing departments across the Abbott Diabetes Care (ADC) product range, collaborating with Technical, Manufacturing, Research & Development, Engineering, Quality, and Regulatory colleagues.

The Opportunity
In this role, you will join a vibrant, friendly, and inclusive team of Statisticians and SAS Programmers. You can expect to work on a diverse range of projects, utilizing various statistical techniques. Our statistical teams collaborate to share best practices, insights, and skills, fostering professional development and career growth.
Key responsibilities as a Senior Statistician include:
Leading and managing a team, mentoring and developing talent.
Supporting the transfer of products and processes from Research & Development to Manufacturing for new product launches.
Investigating and monitoring manufacturing, stability, and product performance data to drive continuous improvement.
Contributing to development trials and analytical test methods, using your statistical expertise to inform quality and business decisions.
Essential Skills and Experience
You should hold a BSc (or higher) in Statistics or Mathematics . Experience in a regulated or manufacturing environment, along with SAS/R programming skills, is advantageous.
You will need to manage multiple projects effectively, communicate statistical concepts clearly to colleagues from diverse backgrounds, and demonstrate adaptability, attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and strong team collaboration.
