Senior Software Engineer - Mobile App

We're seeking aSenior Software Engineerto join our rapidly growing team. Reporting to theTech Lead (Mobile & Web)and working alongside Software Engineers, Platform Engineers, DevOps Engineers, and Digital Product Designers. Responsible for designing, developing, and securing high-performance mobile and/or web applications, ensuring seamless integrations with the luxury EV ecosystem, AI-driven automation, and best-in-class security practices.

This pivotal role will operate in a hybrid capacity from our offices in Leamington Spa, Warwick. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work alongside some of the most visionary minds in the automotive field.

RequirementsWhat you'll do

  • Provide scalable, secure, and high-quality mobile (React Native, Flutter, Swift, Kotlin) or web (Next.js, Svelte, Strapi) applications.
  • Provide seamless API integrations for real-time connectivity and performance.
  • Drive the implementation of AI-driven test automation and security best practices.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver intuitive and feature-rich applications.
  • Provide continuous performance optimization and maintainability improvements.

Who You Are

  • 5+ years of experience in mobile and/or web development.
  • Strong expertise in React Native, Flutter, Swift, Kotlin, Next.js, Svelte, or Strapi.
  • Proven experience in API integration and optimizing data flows between front-end and backend systems.
  • Experience working in automated testing environments, leveraging AI-driven test automation.
  • Possess a deep understanding of DevSecOps principles, including authentication, encryption, and secure data handling.
  • Have strong problem-solving skills and ability to collaborate across functions.

Desirable

  • Experience in the electric vehicle, IoT, or automotive tech sector.
  • Exposure to AI-driven security automation and predictive analytics.
  • Familiarity with serverless and cloud-native architectures.
  • Passion for AI-driven automation, luxury technology, and high-performance digital experiences.
