Senior Python Software Engineer (Data AWS) London / WFH to £130k

Are you a data savvy Python Software Engineer? You could be progressing your career in a senior, hands-on role at a global Commodities Trading firm.

As a Python Software Engineer you will collaborate with Data Scientists, Analysts and Portfolio Managers to ensure seamless data integration, high availability and real-time processing capabilities. You will focus on backend Python development to integrate data from various internal and external sources, including Market Data feeds, trading platforms and third party providers and translate complex trading strategies into executable code, ensuring efficiency and reliability.

Location / WFH:

You'll join the team in the London office with flexibility to work from home twice a week.

About you:

You have advanced backend programming skills with Python You have experience of using Python libraries such as NumPy, Pandas, SciPy, Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch You have a strong knowledge of SQL / NoSQL databases You have experiencing of deploying to AWS You have strong critical thinking and problem solving skills You have excellent communication and stakeholder management skills You have experience of working on financial systems or a strong understanding of financial trading systems You are degree educated, having achieved a 2.1 or above in Computer Science or similar discipline
