Our business
Our EPC contractor client are recruiting for a Senior Project Manager - Operations & Systems, to lead and manage the successful delivery of Operations Centre and all its systems and interfaces. Based in the Brentford office (however, there is flexibility on work location within UK) on a 12 month initial contract.

Key Responsibilities and background:
- Lead and manage the delivery of the Ops Centre, ensuring network operability, safety, and security.
- Oversee system control, EMS, data management, and SCADA systems.
- Engage heavily with stakeholders, communicating effectively at senior leadership and board levels.
- Collaborate with data architects, control centre PM (building), commissioning teams, and network design teams.
- Drive the development of the Ops Centre package from initial philosophy through to EPC definition.
- Ensure alignment with supply chain and technology requirements associated with the project.
- Adopt a hands-on approach to manage and resolve project challenges.
Skills/Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will ensure that the MUPP network is operable, safe, and secure, whilst knowing how to integrate this need into the Operations Control Centre. This role demands extensive knowledge and experience with operations centres, wind farms, PV plant, BESS systems, Transmission Networks with a focus on system control, Energy Management System, Data Management, and SCADA systems as well as systems such as wide area monitoring (WAM)
Proven experience in managing operations centres or similar assets.
Technical proficiency in system control, EMS, data management, and SCADA systems.
Demonstrated ability to interface with senior leadership and board members.
In-depth understanding of supply chain and technology relevant to the Ops Centre.
Experience in collaborating with multidisciplinary teams including data architects, control centre PMs, and network designers.
Ability to drive project development from concept to execution.
Hands-on approach with a proactive problem-solving attitude. Strategic thinking and planning capabilities.
