We are looking for a Senior Paid Media Specialist to be a key player in developing and executing multi-channel campaigns across Google Ads, social media platforms (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn), and other relevant platforms, while providing expert guidance and insights to our clients.

Main Purpose and Scope

Our new Senior Paid Media Specialist will promote the department internally and externally as an integrated part of the wider Organic agency, upholding excellent standards of delivery and the ‘Digital for Good’ ethos.

Duties and Key Responsibilities

  1. Building a distinct tone and set of values around how the paid media department approaches delivering excellence for our clients.
  2. Instilling department culture in the paid media team as well as the wider Organic team.
  3. Managing, supporting, coaching, and mentoring more junior members of the Paid Media team.
  4. Reviewing and quality-checking paid media & analytics work to ensure high standards are consistently met.
  5. Supporting the growth of the Paid Media team and wider agency with pitches, proposals and thought leadership pieces (articles, blogs, webinars etc.).
  6. Creating and updating processes to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.
  7. Responding to client briefs, leading, and building strategies that will best achieve the goals of the campaign.
  8. Setting up campaigns across paid media channels such as Google Ads, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, etc.
  9. Analysing performance throughout business-as-usual and finite campaigns, suggesting and implementing improvements and changes to help reach targets.
  10. Constantly seeking innovative ways for growth and improvements on client accounts.
  11. Working with a data analyst to audit and make recommendations on the configuration of tracking in clients’ Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager and Ads accounts.
  12. Preparing reports and leading client calls, discussing the results from campaigns and agreeing next steps.
  13. Effectively managing and prioritising workloads, negotiating deadlines and liaising with wider Account & Project Management teams.
  14. Keeping up to date with all developments and updates across the paid media sphere.

Experience Required

  1. 4+ years’ experience of managing significant paid media campaign budgets, including search, display, Google Shopping and social.
  2. A track record of running high performance paid media campaigns.
  3. Commercial awareness.
  4. First class grammar and communication skills.
  5. A comprehensive understanding of paid media strategy and the marketing funnel.
  6. Strong analytical and reporting skills.
  7. Up to the minute knowledge of Google Ads best practice including automated bid strategies.

Additional Beneficial Experience

  1. Excel/Google Sheets skills.
  2. Basic knowledge of tracking across the major ad platforms and GA4 with Google Tag Manager.
  3. Google Looker Studio experience.
  4. Working knowledge of Funnel.
