Here at Version 1, we are currently in the market for an experienced Senior Oracle Analytics Consultant to join our growing Cloud Practice.
You will be responsible for:

  • Leading Analytics and Integration architecture for Oracle solutions that often combine EPM, Analytics and Data Integration components.
  • Driving forward solutions through the build and test phases, allocate work to junior team members if leading a build team
  • Advising Project Managers from Version 1 and the Client on approach to build, and help track projects through the various phases

Job Description Specifics:
You will be:

  • Undertaking the delivery of best practice Analytics solutions that meet the highest standards of performance, durability, scalability and flexibility
  • Assisting in activities to understand client needs and objectives and present appropriate solutions in the forms of client meetings, presentations, proposals or product demonstrations
  • Creating initial estimates for customer proposals
  • Leading the delivery of critical Analytics, integration, and Warehouse tasks, such as requirements gathering, design, prototype, development and training
  • Proactively and efficiently work on assigned tasks with minimal supervision
  • Overseeing day-to-day operational aspects of assigned project(s), including customer expectations management, delivery following Version 1 Project Delivery processes, systems and standards.
  • Working with the Project Office to ensure customer billing is correct, expense reconciliations are completed, and customer collections are optimised
  • Ensuring project documents are complete, current, meet standards and are appropriately shared.
  • Proactively working closely with all relevant internal and client stakeholders to ensure effective and efficient implementation of assigned project(s).
  • Proactively and frequently communicating with customers to build and maintain a solid working relationship that encourages future business for the company.

Qualifications
You will have:

  • Proven expertise in Oracle Cloud reporting tools, including OTBI, BI Publisher, FRS and associated data extraction methods.
  • A solid understanding of data models in Oracle ERP and HCM Cloud environments.
  • Experience in managing reporting streams in large-scale Oracle Cloud implementations.
  • Strong SQL, PL/SQL, XML, and XSLT skills for customising and enhancing reporting solutions.
  • Proficiency in creating, uploading, and managing data files using FBDI and HDL.
  • Demonstrable ability to meet tight deadlines and deliver high-quality reporting solutions.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex reporting issues in Oracle Cloud environments.
  • Strong consultancy skills, including experience engaging with senior stakeholders.
  • Ability to research, learn, troubleshoot, and support complex system customisations.
  • Completed development tasks based on requirements submitted by business partners aligning to best practices.
  • Experience documenting and managing technical specifications and software packages.
  • Experience managing project deliverables and meeting project deadlines.
  • Excellent planning skills, and be comfortable with estimating and preparing delivery plans and executing them and have experience in motivating a team to deliver to deadlines
  • A track record in building and developing teams, working with a mix of skillsets across geographic locations.

Preferred Skills:
You will have:

  • Experience working with Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) to extract and integrate data.
  • Familiarity with software design lifecycle methodologies (AIMS/OUM).
  • Experience with Oracle Analytics Cloud (OAC) for advanced analytics and dashboard creation.
  • Experience with FDI (Fusion Data Intelligence) or FAW (Fusion Analytics Warehouse).
