The Opportunity

Data Analytics is one of the most exciting fields in today’s digital world. EY’s mission is to build a better working world by asking better questions and finding better answers. Data Analytics is a strategic growth platform with plans to grow from 150 people today to over 200 in the next 2-3 years. We are transforming our business by embedding analytics in everything we do and helping our clients transform their businesses across industry sectors and lines of business. We are hiring managers, experienced professionals, and graduates to work in a variety of roles.


Your Key Responsibilities

  • Helping clients unlock value from their information assets through collaboration with domain experts and by embedding innovative data analytics solutions in existing services lines
  • Leading diverse teams with varying skillsets, who use different Data and Analytics technologies
  • Adapting leadership style to fit team, client, and cultural needs; anticipating and identifying risks and escalating issues as appropriate; coaching and developing junior team members
  • Working in multi-disciplinary teams across a range of industries to help clients transform and improve their business
  • Contributing to the growth of the team with energy, enthusiasm and leadership
  • Creating innovative insights to add value to clients and to broader society
  • Championing operational efficiency improvements on projects and internal initiatives
  • Driving projects to completion with high quality outputs
  • Contributing to the development of the wider Data & Analytics team by building our brand, attending relevant events, collaborating with internal teams, and producing thought leadership
  • Establishing, maintaining, and strengthening internal and external relationships; with guidance from partners and senior managers, identifying potential business opportunities

Skills And Attributes For Success

  • Relevant experience in consulting or industry with significant management experience
  • Ability to supervise and develop others, communicate effectively, manage budgets, client expectations, and deliver quality projects on time
  • Ability to communicate technical information to non-technical colleagues and clients
  • Proven work experience as a Data Architect
  • Experience gathering and analysing system requirements
  • Proven cloud data architecture experience (Azure/AWS)
  • Deep understanding of both relational and non-relational databases
  • Ability to design cloud architectures at conceptual, logical, and physical levels
  • Analytically minded with the ability to assimilate and apply new techniques to deliver insights
  • Professional with ability to work in diverse, evolving client environments
  • Experience in Cloud Data Architecture, Data Pipelines/ETL, Data Modeling, and Data Governance concepts
  • A completed degree (bachelors, masters, or PhD) or relevant professional experience
  • Data-related cloud certifications in Azure and/or AWS are advantageous

To Qualify for the Role
