About the Role

We’re looking for a top notch iOS Engineer to join our team!  You will be responsible for building our world-class consumer app that will change the way women search and shop online. We’re a highly research and design driven company so you’ll be able to hit the ground running knowing you’re building something that real people really want. We’re prototyping, testing with end customers, and ensuring we’re highly confident in all our product decisions so your time and expertise will be valued and you’ll be able to use your technical skills to create something amazing from day one. 

You’ll be working closely with the full product team including: a top-notch Researcher, stellar Product Designer, highly experienced Product Manager, world-class Head of Data Science, and visionary Head of Engineering, which this role reports into.

Requirements

Role & Responsibilities

  • Job: Senior iOS Engineer
  • Experience: 5+ years
  • Responsibilities:
    • Design and build our consumer application for the iOS Platform–this is a zero to one product so you will work with product team to determine both what we build and how we build it
    • Partner closely with Product Design to ensure a rapid and consistent build, test, and iterate process
    • Partner with VP of Engineering and Head of Data Science to determine optimal tech stack
    • Champion engineering best practices, support CI/CD and ensure performance optimisation for a responsive and high-performance product
  • Education:
    • Bachelor’s degree in relevant fields such as computer science

  • Intellectual Curiosity: Interest in keeping up to date with new techniques and technologies
  • Flexible Thinking: Good understanding of experimentation concepts, including multi-variate and A/B testing, and the ability to iterate and pivot quickly
  • Agility: Familiarity with agile working environments and how to leverage them to increase quality and speed and decrease risk for delivery
  • Organisation: Structured approach to documentation and project work

Location + Work Style

We’ll all be where we need to be based on what’s happening. We’ll have in-person team sessions (usually once a week) as needed for key activities like planning, strategy, and brainstorming sessions (and some fun!), and remote work the rest of the time to allow for flexibility, work-life balance, and quiet time for deep work. 

Hey Savi is based in London and are looking for people in the UK and Europe to join our team. We regret that we can’t hire candidates from other locations or provide Visa sponsorship yet, but check back with us as we grow as we’ll be global soon!

Benefits

Salary:£60,000 to £70,000
