Job Description

Position Purpose:

In this role, you will have strong technical knowledge of Integration platforms and development. You will be accountable for developing, updating and supporting the ETL and B2B messaging and event-based API interfaces in our deployed integration environments, with an agile methodology.

Key Accountabilities

  1. Building and supporting reusable integration interfaces, which can be deployed into a mature, stable integration environment.
  2. Maintain cohesion at the design, coding and architectural framework level of the platform as a critical asset for delivering value by acting with transparency and documenting each progress.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, architects, and other developers, to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
  4. Lead the end-to-end development lifecycle, from planning and design to deployment and maintenance.
  5. Ensure the scalability, reliability, security, and performance of microservice applications, adhering to best practices and industry standards.
  6. Experience in the full ETL lifecycle, including analysing requirements, building type definitions, transformation, deployment, and ongoing support.
  7. Ability to balance multiple tasks, while working with application and business teams to deliver on project requirements.
  8. Conduct code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and mentor junior developers.
  9. Building reusable code for future use and reduction of technical debt.
  10. Ensuring architecture principles are adhered to.
  11. Provide an active role in successful team completion of Release/Sprint Goals.

Experience

  1. Integration design and development experience of at least 5 years with a focus on Boomi or similar IPaaS platforms.
  2. Minimum of 10 years overall experience in designing and implementing complex integration solutions.
  3. Hands-on experience in IPaaS platforms such as Boomi, MuleSoft etc for integration design and development.
  4. Ability to define Integration Mapping and create technical design diagrams.
  5. Proficiency in interface development, testing, and issue resolution.
  6. Experience in collaboration with BAs, Data architects, functional teams etc.
  7. Expertise in monitoring production environments and managing error handling processes.
  8. Ability to document technical designs, requirements, and test scripts effectively.
  9. Experience in DevOps and CI/CD approach for integration deployment.
  10. Experience in integrating with ServiceNow platform for creating CI’s for driving change management and incidence management.
  11. Experience with B2B, with a focus on trading partner management and EDI, including X12 and EDIFACT standard formats.
  12. Experience using various adapters (FTP, MQ, Database – Postgres).
  13. 2-3 years of experience with shell scripting (korn, bash) & cron scheduling.
  14. Clear understanding of ETL principles and API design, including ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues in multi-step interfaces.
  15. Experience using Websphere Transformation Extender (WTX) or Mulesoft would be nice to have.
