Outcomes Based Healthcare (OBH) is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Healthcare Data Modeller / Forensic Data Analyst to join our nationally recognised team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work at the forefront of healthcare transformation, supporting the development of data-driven solutions that improve population health and service delivery across the NHS.

As a Senior Data Modeller at OBH, you will contribute to the continued development of the National Segmentation Dataset, a key asset underpinning NHS England’s population health strategy. You will take ownership of complex data modelling tasks, translating clinical definitions into robust, testable logic, and managing high-volume analytical pipelines that integrate more than 31 billion raw health records. This work is critical to enabling evidence-based decision making, proactive care delivery, and improved health outcomes on a national scale.

The successful candidate will have substantial experience working with large-scale healthcare datasets, preferably within the NHS or UK health sector. Proficiency in PySpark, SparkSQL, and experience working within Azure Synapse or equivalent big data platforms is essential. You will be adept at investigating and resolving data quality issues, collaborating with clinical and technical colleagues, and developing solutions that are both technically rigorous and clinically meaningful.
