Senior (Global Logistics) Data Analyst

This role is driven by data, where the data is front and centre in all decision making. The ability to manipulate data sets, deriving an informed decision by interrupting what the data is telling you, is critical to this role.

It’s ideal for someone who has:

Strong analytic & analysis skills, with the ability to prove (data led) where efficiencies can be gained. Must have the ability to work with large data sets, deriving and interpreting the information to meet the business need. Please note 50% of the work you do will be underpinned by data.

Strong business acumen, leadership, and drive. With the ability to identify and successfully drive logistics solutions internally across multiple teams, and externally with logistics partners.

Utilize & embrace automation for tasks which are repetitive, ideally with knowledge of creating Power BI dashboards.

Strong communication skills, with the ability to simplify and relay complex information succinctly both internally and externally.

Enjoy working on their own initiative, with the ability to identify, recommend and expedite solutions.

Monitor and engage with external logistics partners, to monitor and improve current service but also identify cost savings going forward.

Working closely with Procurement teams to provide leadership & specialist logistics knowledge as part of Global RFI, RFP, RFQ process. Delivering against milestones and improving process outcomes.

Enjoy multitasking, with the ability to prioritize your own workload. You will have multiple data requests from different divisions within the company, and you need to balance the day-to-day tasks with varying requests/projects.

You will need to have/be:

Highly driven, self-motivated with the ability to work both independently and as part of a blended global team (working with Sales, Finance, Purchasing, Shipping, Relationship Managers etc.).

Excellent experience of deriving and interpreting logistics information from large data sets. Ideally you do this in your current role and are currently the subject matter expert for logistics within your organisation.

Strong communication, people/influencing skills.

Must be detail oriented and hard working.

Expert level Excel skills, ideally with ability to create Power BI dashboards.

You must have:

Strong international logistics experience, ideally with 3+ years’ experience gained in similar role within a fast pace, complex global environment.

Ideally Bachelor’s Degree

8+ years of relevant work experience
