Role Overview

We are looking for a versatile Fullstack Engineer passionate about scaling systems and crafting experiences to power HIVED’s emission-free parcel delivery network.

As a Senior Fullstack Engineer, you will play a key role across the entire tech stack, owning the full software development lifecycle—from discovery and design to deployment and monitoring. You will have a tangible impact on HIVED’s platform, driving scalability, maintainability, and performance across both backend services and frontend applications.

Your team will tackle complex routing and optimisation challenges, build intelligent address and parcel-locating solutions, enhance internal operations tooling, develop our native driver app to increase delivery efficiency, and more. We reimagine parcel delivery from scratch—built on a modern tech stack with sustainability, flexibility and scale at the core.

Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and maintain scalable solutions across the entire tech stack, ensuring seamless and intuitive user experiences.
  • Plan and lead projects along with other software engineers, product managers and end users.
  • Maintain and optimise existing infrastructure, including integrations with third-party services.
  • Improve and scale engineering processes, tools, and standards.
  • Share knowledge and mentor junior engineers within the team.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Software Engineer or similar role, with 5+ years of experience.
  • Proficiency in writing clean, performant, and testable code in typed languages.
  • Experience with building distributed systems and working with cloud platforms (AWS).
  • Expertise in architecting, designing, and building React applications.
  • Excellent collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders.
