About the role

This role will report to the VP Finance & Strategy FP&A and Central Functions. The role will take ownership for planning and reporting for General and Administration opex costs (including people costs) for all functions except Technology. The candidate will at times partner with members of the Executive Team and their VP Direct reports. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys leading on significant investments for the business, whilst also owning traditional finance roles across controllership, reporting and planning.

The role is based in London, with at least 3 days a week to be worked from the office.

What you'll be doing

  • Line manager responsibility - performance management, development and coaching.
  • Understanding and challenging type of spend and performance management against targets.
  • Planning, forecasting & reporting for headcount and other general and administration opex across all areas of the Business.
  • Ensuring cost allocations across areas can be optimised to manage profitability at a functional/ market level.
  • Communication and engagement with Executive level and VP stakeholders in order to manage their headcount costs and G&A.
  • Partnering across Finance teams to land company-wide finance & business initiatives.

Requirements

  • You will need to be ACA / ACCA or equivalent qualified with at least 6 years of post-qualified experience.
  • You will have relevant industry or startup experience.
  • You will have used big data for decision making & problem solving.
  • You will be comfortable pulling together spreadsheet-based financial models.
  • You will have experience influencing stakeholders at senior levels, including non-finance.
