The Senior Director, Learning Role

This is a rare opportunity to shape the future of learning at Qlik as our Senior Director of Education. You’ll lead a global education team dedicated to building high-impact, monetized learning experiences that drive product adoption and customer success. From designing instructor-led training and self-paced courses to overseeing platform subscriptions, certifications, and thought leadership, you’ll own the strategy and execution of a world-class education program that supports our customers, partners, and employees.   1. Own and grow Qlik’s commercial learning business—including self-paced learning, instructor-led training, and certifications.

  6. Build and lead a talented team, shaping a learning culture that reflects our core values and passion for impact.

Here’s how you’ll be making an impact:

In this role, you won’t just oversee education—you’ll transform it. Your work will:

  1. Directly influence revenue through commercial education programs.
  2. Accelerate product adoption and customer satisfaction at scale.
  3. Align learning strategies with real business needs and market trends.
  4. Create high-quality, consistent learning experiences that elevate performance and capability across all audiences.
  5. Foster a forward-thinking, data-driven culture of continuous improvement within the education team.
  6. Help position Qlik as a thought leader in the modern learning and data space.

We’re looking for a teammate with:

  1. A track record of 10+ years in education or learning leadership, including 5+ years in a senior management role within tech or software.
  2. Experience running global education programs and owning a P&L.
  3. A strategic mindset and strong business acumen, with the ability to turn learning into a competitive advantage.
  4. Excellent communication skills and a collaborative style that builds trust across functions.
  5. Deep understanding of instructional design, LMS platforms, and digital learning trends.
  6. A data-first approach to measuring impact and improving continuously.
  7. Passion for innovation—especially gamified or interactive learning methods.
  8. A love for balancing detail with big-picture vision, and juggling priorities in a fast-moving environment.

The location for this role is:

Barcelona, Spain; London or Reading, UK.
