Senior Data/Consulting Engineer (Palantir Foundry) – London – Salary Up To £60,000 per annum

Morela are proud to be working with one of the UK’s leading Palantir partners, who are experiencing rapid growth and now looking to bring on a Senior Data/Consulting Engineer to help drive complex, high impact projects forward. This role is about more than just technical proficiency it’s about leadership, strategy, and joining a team of exceptional individuals who are shaping transformative journeys on the Palantir Foundry platform.

You’ll be joining a consultancy at the forefront of AI and cutting edge technology, helping organisations embed advanced software into some of the most intricate digital environments. With experience across both public and private sectors, this team delivers end-to-end support from strategic advisory and programme design to engineering execution and long term enablement. Their collaborative ethos and deep technical acumen allow them to consistently deliver solutions that offer real-world impact and long term value.

Core Responsibilities

Client Strategy & Leadership: Work closely with senior stakeholders to understand critical challenges, shaping long-term data strategies and scalable solutions using Palantir Foundry.
Solution Design & Architecture: Take ownership of the design and architecture of complex data systems, ensuring they align with business goals and technical best practices.
Lead Engineering Delivery: Oversee the end-to-end delivery of Palantir Foundry implementations, guiding engineering teams and ensuring technical excellence.
Data Engineering Expertise: Manage and transform large-scale datasets to enable analytical insights, data pipelines, and advanced modelling capabilities.
Mentorship & Technical Leadership: Mentor junior engineers and act as a technical reference point across multidisciplinary teams.
Custom Tool Development: Spearhead the creation of custom tools, features, and extensions using Python, Java, or JavaScript as needed.
Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to enhance delivery frameworks, engineering processes, and technical standards.
What We’re Looking For

Education: A strong academic background in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or a related discipline.
Extensive Coding Experience: Proven expertise in Python, Java, C++, JavaScript, or TypeScript, ideally across production environments.
Strategic Mindset: Able to zoom out and contribute to high-level planning while also diving into technical detail.
Client Facing Confidence: Comfortable engaging with senior stakeholders, presenting ideas, and shaping requirements.
Agile & Adaptive: Thrive in fast paced, changing environments, with the ability to pivot across client and project needs.
Leadership Ready: A track record of taking initiative, leading teams, and delivering results.
Travel Flexibility: Open to occasional travel (up to 25%) depending on project needs.
As a Senior Data/Consulting Engineer working with Palantir Foundry, you'll be part of mission critical projects from reshaping national infrastructure to improving real time operational systems.
