Job Description
Senior Data Scientist / AI Engineer
Hybrid working: The places that you work from day to day will vary according to your role, your needs, and those of the business; it will be a blend of Company offices, client sites, and your home; noting that you will be unable to work at home 100% of the time.

Your Role
We are looking for individuals with strong technical knowledge in machine learning, GenAI, computer vision, and data science, combined with solid solution architecture and software engineering skills. You will design and build deployable solutions at scale, collaborate with clients to identify problems, define impactful solutions, and communicate effectively how our solutions meet their goals. You will also lead and motivate teams, author whitepapers, and represent Capgemini at conferences.

Your Skills and Experience
Proficiency in AI techniques such as supervised and unsupervised machine learning, GenAI, deep learning, graph analytics, NLP, sentiment analysis, etc.
Excellent communication skills to present complex work clearly to clients and manage stakeholder relationships.
Experience winning work with private and public sector clients, including participating in RFI/RFP processes, preparing bids, and delivering presentations. Familiarity with data science platforms (e.g., Databricks, Dataiku, AzureML, SageMaker) and frameworks (e.g., Keras, TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn).
Experience deploying solutions on Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) using provisioning tools like Terraform.
Proven ability to deploy technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD platforms, GitHub, ensuring secure and robust solutions.
Strong leadership experience managing technical teams, workloads, and Agile processes, with skills in risk mitigation.
Your Developed Vetting Clearance
This role requires obtaining Developed Vetting (DV) clearance. Applicants must have resided continuously in the UK for the last 10 years and meet other detailed security criteria. During recruitment, questions regarding security clearance eligibility, residence, and nationality will be asked. Some roles may be restricted to UK citizens for security reasons.
