The Audience Measurement team at Ipsos uses deep understanding of people to analyze audiences and media consumption. We help clients with targeting, maximizing attention, enhancing user experience, and demonstrating audience value.

We are recruiting a Data Engineer for our Out Of Home – Route project, which involves building scalable infrastructure for synthetic travel surveys, generating audience figures for Out-of-Home media in Great Britain. You will collaborate with data scientists to design, build, and optimize data pipelines, supporting ML models deployment and scaling.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Develop scalable data pipelines and optimize storage on GCP.
  • Implement ETL and CI/CD processes for clean, structured data.
  • Assist data scientists with integrating synthetic models into production.
  • Provide technical support and troubleshoot issues.
  • Document pipelines and architectures.
  • Participate in agile processes and engage with clients when needed.
  • Improve data delivery performance following DataOps practices.

Tech Stack includes:

  • GCP: GCS, BigQuery, GKE, Vertex AI, etc.
  • Open-Source Tools: Argo, dbt, Terraform, Docker, Kubernetes, etc.
  • Languages: Python, SQL, JavaScript.

Requirements:

  • At least 3 years of experience with scalable data pipelines, GCP, Python, SQL.
  • Knowledge of APIs, cloud storage, containerization, and orchestration.
  • Experience with Terraform, data quality, synthetic data, AI/ML deployment.
  • Excellent communication and collaborative skills; GCP certifications are a plus.
