Senior Data Engineer

Hybrid based - 1 day per week on site

12 month contract

As an experiencedSenior Data Engineeryou will play a pivotal role to drive the overall data transformation and data across the organization. You’ll work with a talented squad of data engineers and collaborate with partners across the business to implement our data strategy.

What You’ll Do:

• Build & Maintain: Create reliable, automated data solutions in the cloud.
• Take Ownership: Handle complex tasks and deliver results smoothly.
• Collaborate: Support fellow engineers through code reviews and pair programming.
• Design & Develop: Build scalable data and ML pipelines aligned with our goals.
• Innovate: Experiment with new ideas to enhance our solutions.
• Partner with Architects: Help establish our core data model for operational and analytical needs.
• Create Insights: Develop analytical tools to drive data-driven decision-making.
• Solve Problems Together: Communicate decisions and tackle challenges collaboratively.
• Lead Product Planning: Contribute to our agile product roadmap.
• Maximise Customer Value: Work with product teams to clarify requirements.

Who You Are:

• You have extensive experience with cloud-based data technologies, ideally Azure.
• You know how to design and build end-to-end data and ML solutions.
• You’re skilled with ETL tools, Databricks, and SQL.
• You understand design and data modelling.
• You’ve built end-to-end ML systems and understand the ML lifecycle.
• You’re proficient in Python, SQL, and Spark.
