bout the Role:

We are seeking a highly experiencedSenior Data Architectwith deep domain expertise ininsurance, particularly within theLondon Market and specialty insurancesectors. This role is pivotal in designing and implementing scalable, secure, and high-performance data architectures, includingmedallion architecture, across cloud platforms such asAWS,Databricks, andSnowflake.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implemententerprise-grade data architectures, with a focus onmedallion architecture(bronze, silver, gold layers).
  • Lead the development ofdata pipelines,data lakes, anddata warehousesusingAWS,Databricks, andSnowflake.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders, data engineers, and analysts to translate business requirements into scalable data solutions.
  • Ensure data governance, security, and compliance across all data platforms.
  • Provide architectural guidance for integratingSalesforce,CRM systems, andGuidewire suite(PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, ClaimCenter).
  • Support data needs forunderwriting,claims, andpolicy administrationprocesses.
  • Drive best practices in data modeling, metadata management, and data quality assurance.


Required Skills & Experience:

  • 8+ years of experience in data architecture, with at least 3 years in theinsurance industry.
  • Strong understanding ofLondon Marketandspecialty insuranceoperations and data flows.
  • Proven experience withAWS(S3, Glue, Redshift, Lambda, etc.),Databricks, andSnowflake.
  • Expertise in building and optimizingmedallion architecture.
  • Solid knowledge ofdata governance,security, andcomplianceframeworks.
  • Experience withETL/ELT tools,data modeling, anddata integrationstrategies.
  • Familiarity withSalesforceandCRM platforms.
  • Understanding ofunderwritingandclaimsprocesses.
  • Experience withGuidewireproducts is a strong plus.
