About the team:

As a Senior Data Business Partner, you will be part of a small team focussed on supporting our primary business functions, in producing reports for submission to the banking regulators. Our current aims are too increasingly automate many more of the processes that those business functions carry out and to provide them with dashboards to enable them to focus even more on analysis.

What you will be doing:

As a Senior Data Analyst, the key purpose is to support business functions in getting access to the data and analysis they require today and in the future.

You will become a knowledgeable business partner to a business area or domain to provide data insights and products that support the leadership of that area. Leading the development of analytical reporting, dash boarding, visualisations and statistical analysis to support an area of the Group.

Your responsibilities will include…

  • Creating a rapport with a business area as the trusted data partner to define, document and prioritise business requirements
  • Preparing, presenting and effectively communicating on data analytics issues and trends to stakeholders
  • Working effectively with other internal departments to drive efficiency and effectiveness
  • Researching and promoting relevant data tools and processes that contribute to increased efficiency
  • Ensuring data governance standards, policies and controls are built in to Analytics practices

  • Previous work experience as a Data/MI Analyst with hands on experience using SQL and Power BI
  • Strong knowledge of SQL, Python or R
  • Ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at a variety of levels
