Senior Data Analyst, Governance & Experience - TikTok Shop EMEA

The Data Science team for the TikTokShop EMEA Governance and Experience team are dedicated to data insight and data solutions for governance and experience, helping to ensure a safe and trustworthy marketplace for our buyers, sellers and creators.

Responsibilities
  • Drive new insights, identify opportunities and help craft solutions through data.
  • Measure and monitor customer experience key metrics, such as NPS, CPO and PARR etc.;
  • Translate complex data insights into actionable strategies and recommendations for senior management.
  • Establish customer experience metrics systems, effectively discovering related problems and providing solutions to the business.
  • Design A/B experiments for effective improvement and ROI calculation, conducting analysis to optimize strategies.
  • Conduct deep analysis of seller and customer experience, to explore more opportunities in repurchase, retention and conversion.
  • Improve data accessibility for GNE governance and experience teams; increase data understanding, improve dashboard availability and insight.
  • Collaborate effectively with other departments (e.g., marketing, sales, product development) to ensure alignment on strategic goals, data-driven initiatives, root cause analysis and create action plans.
  • Leverage data intelligence systems to evolve, making the E-commerce ecosystem better and better.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor Degree or above in a Science, Engineering or similar. Engaged in data statistics, analysis, modeling related working areas after graduation.
  • Proficient in SQL, with awareness of Python or R for data analysis.
  • Strong communication skills in English, with the ability to create documentation and communication globally with cross‑functional partners.
  • Strong willingness to learn, with curiosity to pick up domain knowledge in new areas quickly.
  • Proven ability to work in a fast paced environment, adapting and overcoming challenges.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous EMEA e‑commerce experience recommended but not required.
  • Global business or analytical experience to operate effectively as part of an international team: Global cooperation will be critical, as part of global GNE Data Science, Strategy, and Insight teams.
  • Masters/MBA in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science is preferred.
