Job Description

Your Mission:

At Wise, our mission is to enable money without borders. As a FinTech handling billions of GBP across over 70 countries, we need reliable financial insights for strategic decisions. We are seeking a Data Analyst to join our Growth and Strategic Finance Team in Shoreditch, London, to support this mission.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Influence company and customer decisions through data analysis.
  • Curate datasets, surface key metrics, perform statistical modeling, and conduct deep dive analyses.
  • Understand drivers of company growth.
  • Analyze cost structures and assist in strategic cost reduction planning.
  • Develop pricing strategies to incentivize desired behaviors and support growth.

Who you are:

  • Strong analytical skills with intermediate to advanced SQL proficiency.
  • 2-6 years of relevant experience.
  • Excellent data visualization and storytelling abilities.
  • Self-organized with stakeholder management skills.
  • Impact-driven, exceeding basic role expectations.
  • Proficient in Python or R.
  • Knowledge of statistics, statistical modeling, and regression analysis.
  • Mathematical background.
  • Experience with DBT and data modeling in data warehouses.
  • Understanding of testing and experimental design.
  • Legally authorized to work in the UK.
